
01.- Is Crystal Quarters Corporate Housing a hotel?
Crystal Quarters Corporate Housing is not a hotel. We are an
independent apartment leasing company that provides fully-furnished
apartments in the heart of Arlington, Virginia (Crystal City).
Currently, we are located in two properties: The Concord
and Water Park Towers
We have a 4 night minimum stay and our rates are competitive with the some of the finer hotels in Arlington
02.- Is Crystal Quarters Corporate Housing the building management?
Crystal Quarters Corporate Housing is a tenant of the respective
building managements: Archstone Smith and Bozzuto Management. Crystal
Quarters has no affiliation with either company. The leasing office,
front desk, and maintenance staff are not Crystal Quarters employees.
We employ our own staff of managers, leasing agents and housekeepers at
our office location.
03.- Is Crystal Quarters Corporate Housing leasing office located on site?
Yes. Our office is located in the Concord, 2600 Crystal Drive, Unit
#218. We are on the second floor to the left of the elevator and down
the hall from the Bozzuto management and leasing offices.
04.- Can I view an apartment before I make a reservation?
Absolutely. We welcome the opportunity to meet all residents in person
and show what Crystal Quarters Corporate Housing has to offer. We want
you to be 100% satisfied with your decision. Please call our office
toll-free (800) 332-8501 or DC/VA (703) 671-7505 to make an appointment.
05.- Is parking included in the rate?
Yes, garage parking is included. Crystal Quarters Corporate Housing
issues one parking permit per unit free of charge. An extra parking
permit may be obtained for a minimal fee of $60.00/month subject to
availability. The Crystal Quarters parking permit allows residents to
park anywhere in the garage and in specially designated spaces outside
the building.
06.- Are pets allowed?
No. For the safety and comfort of our staff and residents, Crystal
Quarters Corporate Housing does not allow pets in our furnished
apartments. Please be aware that the Concord is a pet-friendly property.
07.- Are the apartments smoking or non-smoking?
Inside the apartments and the common areas of the building are
designated non-smoking areas. Smoking is permitted on the balconies
only.
08.- What is the policy toward visitors? Are there any fees involved?
There are no fees involved for visitors. Crystal Quarters Corporate
Housing can provide roll-aways and extra linens and towels upon
request. Visitor parking passes may be requested directly from the
front desk.
09.- How do I make a reservation?
Reservations are made over the phone. Please call toll-free (800)
332-8501 or VA/DC Area (703) 671-7505. You will need a credit card to
confirm the reservation. Upon confirmation, you will receive a
confirmation e-mail within 24-hours.
10.- Is there a lease to sign or a security deposit?
There is no lease to sign and no security deposit required. Rates are
based on the length of stay. If the length of the reservation changes,
the rate is subject to change.
11.- What is The Rewards Program?
The Rewards Program is a simple point system that Crystal
Quarters Corporate Housing has developed to give you more for your stay. With a
4 night minimum stay you are ready to start earning CQ Reward
points that you may spend with any of our listed
participating businesses. So…have
a great stay, redeem points and enjoy!
12.- When will I receive my receipt?
You will receive your receipt within 2 business days after the 1st of
the month. Receipts will be e-mailed as a pdf attachment to the e-mail
address on file. Arriving tenants: We cannot issue a receipt until we
receive a completed and signed registration form.
13.- My internet/cable is not working, what do I do?
Please call our office (703) 671-7505. We will assess the situation and
get in contact with the appropriate vendor. If the problem cannot be
addressed over the phone, we will schedule a technician's visit to the
apartment.
14.- I would like to upgrade my cable package and/or add services. Can I do that?
Yes, you certainly may request cable upgrades from our office (703)
671-7505. Additional services will be billed separately. A 30%
surcharge will be added to unauthorized services found on the phone,
cable, and/or internet bill, including long distance.
15.- I have a maintenance request, who do I place it with?
You may contact our office at (703) 671-7505 and we will be
happy
to place the work order for you during business hours. For
after
hour emergencies, please contact the front desk of your building: Water
Park Towers (703) 418-1000, The Concord (703) 416-6555.
16.- I placed a work order, when will the work be completed?
Most maintenance requests should be completed within 48 hours. However
some requests require parts to be ordered and/or additional maintenance
visits to the apartments. Please keep in mind that the building
maintenance staff is not Crystal Quarters employees and we do not
handle their work schedules. Maintenance will leave a note in the
apartment indicating what work was done and any follow up needed if
necessary.
17.- My spouse/partner/children are coming to visit for the weekend. What do I need?
Parking: Water Park Towers — You may request a temporary visitor parking permit directly from the front desk. The permit must be displayed at all times the vehicle is parked on the property. Visitors may not park in the garage; visitors must park in the designated visitor parking spots outside the building.
The Concord — Visitors must take a ticket upon entering the parking garage. The concierge will validate the ticket at the concierge desk. All visitors must sign in. Non-validated visitor ticket holders must pay $5.00 upon exiting the garage.
Extra linens: We can provide extra sheets, blankets, and pillows upon request. Rollaways are also available. Please contact our office (703) 671-7505 for all such requests.
Extra keys/access cards: Please request extra keys and access cards directly from our office (703) 671-7505. Extra keys will be placed in an envelope at the front desk to be picked up by the resident. All requests are subject to availability.
18.- When will housekeeping be in my apartment?
The housekeeping schedule is set every Monday morning for the following
week. If you call our office (703) 671-7505 we will be able to tell you
what day your apartment is scheduled. Generally, it will be the same
day of the week for the duration of your stay (excluding federal
holidays), but it is not guaranteed.
19.- How does your referral program work?
Referral fees are calculated based on the number of nights in the
reservation and are paid in the form of a check. We do not pay
referrals for stays of less than 5 nights. Crystal Quarters Corporate
Housing can only pay referral fees to past tenants. We cannot pay a
referral fee to anyone whose official duty is to find housing for
government employees. Referral fees are paid by Crystal Quarters after
the referred resident checks out.
